Les écoles qui scolarisent les enfants de cadres internationaux ont mis en place des formes originales d’enseignement international. Ces formations, tant scolaires que sociales, apparaissent particulièrement bien adaptées aux nouvelles exigences liées à la mondialisation. Les écoles de gestion, parce qu’elles accordent une valeur importante aux compétences internationales, constituent un débouché privilégié par les élèves. Ces stratégies internationales vont de pair avec la contestation du modèle franco-français de formation des élites; elles ne se traduisent pas pour autant par l’élaboration de nouvelles normes d’excellence qui feraient consensus.
The schools which train the children of international managers have developed innovative forms of international training. These programs, which include both academic and social components, appear particularly well adapted to the new demands of globalization. Since business schools emphasize international capabilities, they too are eagerly sought out by students. These paths of international training are a major issue in the very French debate about how France should train its elite. These paths have not, however, led to a consensus regarding the definition of new standards of excellence.
